Next weekend is a massive weekend for Kilbride GAA Club. On Friday The Junior Ladies play Oran in the Junior C Championship Final at 9pm in Ballyforan.
On Saturday the T&P Mullaney Building Contractors sponsored Senior Ladies team are hoping for four in a row when they meet Clann na nGael in the Ladies Senior Championship Final in Kiltoom at 4.45pm. Please get your flags out and come and support both teams on this historic weekend for the ladies club. Then on Sunday the Clarke Machinery sponsored men’s team play Castlerea in the Intermediate quarter-final In Orchard Park, Elphin at 3.45pm

The Kilbride Junior team fought back from nine points down at halftime to earn a draw against Oran on Sunday in Rockfield. Unfortunately our U16’s were well beaten by Oran/St Croan’s on the same day. The minor teams match against Kilglass St Barry’s on Thursday was conceded by the opposition.
The U12 Boys played Shannon Gaels in the 3rd round of the Summer league in in a sunny Croghan during the week. The boys were beaten by a very good Shannon Gaels team but with still another game to play they are still in with a shout of getting to the knockout stages. The lotto draw was held on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €11,250 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1, 12, 25 & 28. The five €20 winners drawn were Stephen Lohan, Sonnie Tiernan, Danny Neary, Martin Kelly, Ronan & Olivia Gavigan. The next draw will take place on the 28th September when the jackpot will be €11,400.

The U16 girls team had a great win over Elphin/Kilmore last Tuesday evening in Elphin in the Division 2A Quarter Final.
